The Maryland Family Stories Project 2012

The PFLAG chapters of Maryland are asking parents, grandparents, siblings and other family members and allies with LGBT friends to write letters about how your gay, lesbians, bisexual and transgender family members and friends have been discriminated against and how this discrimination negatively affects your family. We are asking you to talk about how passing the Marriage Equality and the Gender Identity bills in Maryland will positively impact your family.

PFLAG Baltimore County is taking the lead on this project, but we are hoping to include stories from all over Maryland. If you live outside the Baltimore or Washington DC metro areas you are especially encouraged to write a letter. We hope to dispel the widely held notion that we do not have support on the Eastern Shore or western Maryland.

We are asking you to make a small donation to defray the cost of printing these letters as a booklet and distributing the booklets to our legislators. If you cannot make a donation please write your letter anyway.

Please contribute what you can today. Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians, Gays Thanks you.

If you think this project is as important as we do we ask that you email your letter to:  PFLAGbaltimorecounty@gmail.com

To Fund the printing we are asking YOU to make a donation
